Win the Day Campaign

I was approached by Tim Lukei, the leader of a Mens Ministry at Mariners Church, who was looking for a way to help bring his community together over the course of a year around the concept of taking small, positive steps forward, every single day. He wanted to rally his men around two verses: Psalm 118:24: This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Deuteronomy 20:4 For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you victory.

After a series of brainstorms and discussions with Tim, we landed on a rallying cry: Win the Day. I developing a badge based concept that I knew would fit this vibe of this community. They are a rugged bunch, conduct recurring yearly events built around guns, bbq, and outdoor sports like kayaking and camping. Given their events and the desire to lean into group accountability, it made sense to lean into imagery that communicated team.

I hired designer Michael Khamo to help design the concept, and he nailed the creative direction.
